Visiting the Meadow

The meadow is always open and is free to visit. If you are coming by car there is free parking at the Community Hall and Playing Field on Long Lane. To get to the Meadow take the tarmac path that leads to Harrold Place from the far corner of the car park opposite the Community Hall and the Meadow is immediately on your left. See 'Where Is Jubilee Meadow?'

A circular path is regularly cut around the meadow but please be aware that the ground is uneven. To help allow the meadow to develop and flourish, please keep to the paths and if you are bringing your dog please keep it on a lead at all times and make sure you clean up

We have now provided seating on the meadow itself with two oak benches and two log circles, you will also find plenty of seating nearby and picnic tables beside the Community Hall. There are no public toilet facilities unless the Community Hall is open.

We have placed information boards at the entrances to the Meadow from the car park and from the Playing Field and hope to provide other information to help you make the most of your visit

Meadow walking route 1

A circular walk around the meadow is approximately 350 metres and you can extend it into a figure of eight by cutting through the copse and hedgerow at the far corner and following the cinder path beyond the play area (a walk of approximately 650 metres)
